Leopard Creek Guest Guidelines

These guidelines are upheld and enforced by Leopard Creek’s staff, who are entrusted with full authority to ensure the exceptional standards and traditions of this esteemed club are maintained at all times.
On-Course Dress Regulations

The club is conservative in style and by nature. Recognised golf attire is required at all times. The authority is vested with the Club Director to decide what is appropriate for the club. Please avoid unpleasant situations by adhering to this policy.

  • Shirts tucked in at all times.

  • Caps and other headwear worn with peak facing forward i.e. not back to front.

  • No cargo-style (side pocket) pants or shorts.

  • Predominantly white socks with shorts (may be purchased in shop).

  • Recognised golf shoes only.

  • No apparel with big logos, bold advertising or large numerals.

  • Very ‘loud’, bright or bold clothing will not be allowed.

Clubhouse Dress Regulations

Men:

  • Hats and caps may not be worn in the bar, dining room and lounges.

  • Regular collared golf shirts, crew neck shirts or tailored shirts. No bold commercial advertising or inappropriate wording. No T-shirts! Shirts must be tucked in at all times.

  • Traditional long and short tailored trousers or suitable jeans. Long trousers are required in the bar, dining room and lounges at club functions.

  • Only closed heel golf shoes with soft spikes are permitted. Casual shoes with closed heels. No sandals, flip-flops or crocs.

Ladies:

  • Traditional collared or crew neck golf shirts. Tailored waist length golf shirts need not be tucked in. Sleeveless golf shirts may also be worn.

  • Blouses may be worn over trousers and skirts. No bold commercial advertising or inappropriate wording.

  • Traditional long and short tailored trousers or suitable jeans.

  • Appropriate length skirts and dresses

  • Only closed heel golf shoes with soft spikes are permitted. Formal or casual shoes and sandals permitted. Flip flops are not permitted.

Golf Cart Usage

Golf carts are to be driven cautiously with respect to other drivers. Sensitivity towards the course must be shown particularly in wet areas and the surround of greens and tees. No driving up steep banks to trees or through the bush, unless accompanied by an adult, no children under the age of 16 are allowed to use golf carts on the course.
